Toddler Discovery Program
18 months to 3 years

This is an amazing time for exploration for your toddler. We use the strategy of building their confidence and making them feel like experts by asking thought-provoking questions to prompt them to think deeper about what they are exploring.
Critical thinking questions, compared to questions with one correct answer, can focus their attention on what they are noticing and doing, and can be springboards for our teachers and toddlers to investigate together. "What do you think those ants are doing?" and "What shapes do you see in those rocks?" are questions that invite children to observe, communicate, and be the "experts."
